What’s the difference between Freemium, Starter, Premium, and Pro?
Freemium is free (1 GB, watermark, standard export, AI Studio locked). Starter (€11/mo) removes the watermark, adds 50 GB, 2K export, and 30,000 AI credits/month. Premium (€24/mo) goes to 200 GB, 4K export, and 90,000 credits. Pro (€90/mo) offers 1 TB, 4K export, and 300,000 credits.
Monthly or yearly — which should I pick?
Yearly billing is billed as 10 months (2 months free): Starter €110/year (≈ €9.17/mo), Premium €240/year (≈ €20/mo), Pro €900/year (≈ €75/mo). Use the Monthly / Yearly toggle above the cards to compare.
Do I need a credit card for Freemium?
No. Freemium never asks for a card. An account lets you save projects and media in the cloud (1 GB). A card is only required when you start a paid plan via Stripe Checkout.
How do I subscribe?
Sign in, choose a plan, and complete secure Stripe Checkout. Your plan and quotas update automatically after payment. If you already have an active subscription, the button opens the customer portal instead of creating a second subscription.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. From My account (or the Stripe portal), you can change plans, update payment methods, or cancel. After cancellation, paid access continues until the end of the current billing period, then the account returns to Freemium.
What happens to my storage after I cancel?
When the paid period ends, the account returns to Freemium (1 GB). While you are over that limit, uploads and export are blocked; you can still view, download, and delete your files. Nothing is auto-deleted “to fit the quota” — you free space yourself or upgrade again. After 30 days of retention without resubscribing, all cloud files on the account may be purged.
How do AI credits work?
Paid plans include a monthly AI credit allowance for AI Studio (TTS, transcription, voice isolation, etc.). Freemium includes no credits. Credits renew each period; balance and usage are shown in the editor and on My account.
Which payment methods are accepted?
Payments are processed by Stripe (common credit and debit cards). Checkout is secure; MPconvert does not store card numbers. Prices are shown in euros.
What if a payment fails?
If payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds…), Stripe notifies you and the subscription may become past due. Update your payment method via the portal from My account to restore access.
Who can access my cloud files (GDPR)?
Your cloud media and projects live under your account (private users/… space), protected by authentication: in normal use only you can access them. They are not public and not shared with other users. Hosting relies on our technical processors (e.g. Google Firebase / Cloud Storage). Limited access may be used for support, security, or legal obligations. AI Studio features send content to the relevant providers only when you run those tools. You can request access, correction, or deletion via Privacy / contact.
